The National Tourism Transport Summit and Expo (NTTS&E) is kicking off on Monday December 7, 2020 in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
The Inter-Ministerial Organising Committee said at the weekend that the two-day programme got the Federal Government approval to reposition the nation’s economy.
The organising committee also noted that there would be collaboration between the relevant ministries, agencies, non-government and private stakeholders towards promoting tourism and transportation business in Nigeria.
In a statement issued by the National President, ITPN/ Chairman MOC, ITTS & E 2020, Chief Abiodun Odusanwo, the significance of mobility and connectivity to the national economic growth and development is the major reason behind the programme.
He explained that the 2020 edition, which is the third so far, was slated to hold in April 2020, but was postponed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, hence being rescheduled to hold December Monday 7 and Tuesday 8, 2020 at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
