Nigerian Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage, has recanted her earlier assertion on her leaked sex tape. She has now said that her ex-boyfriend released it because of “a bet”.
She made the latest claim while featuring as a guest on the latest edition of ‘The Breakfast Club’.
In 2021, a sex tape of the ‘Somebody’s Son’ crooner went viral on several social media platforms.
She later disclosed that the video, which was recorded by her ex-boyfriend without her knowledge, got leaked after she refused to pay a blackmailer.
However, speaking during her latest interview, Tiwa Savage revealed that the leaked sex tape was circulated by her then boyfriend as part of “a bet”.
The mother of one went on to confirm the video is real, adding that she felt betrayed by her ex-lover.
She said, “I actually did that with my boyfriend. He said he accidentally pressed sent when he was trying to save it. But I later found out that it was a bet with his friends.”
