Tiwa Savage claims her contribution to music isn’t well appreciated

Tiwa Savage is generally regarded by Nigerian and other music lovers as the “Queen of Afrobeats”

Ace Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage has said Nigerians and stakeholders in the country’s entertainment industry don’t give her enough accolades for her contributions to music.

She made this known while featuring as a guest on the latest episode of the Offair Show co-hosted by Gbemi and Toolz.

According to the ‘Malo’ crooner, despite being one of the most-awarded female artists in Africa and regarded by many as the “Queen of Afrobeats”, she still feels she’s not well appreciated.

She went on to say she deserves more accolades than she is currently getting from music lovers. 

Speaking during the chat, Toolz asked: “Do you think you’ve gotten your flowers from the industry?”

Responding, Savage said, “No. I’m sorry, I don’t.”
