Tinubu arrives in Katsina ahead of Buhari’s funeral

President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Katsina in an unmarked private aircraft for the funeral of ex-President Muhammadu Buhari.
The President’s jet touched the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua International Airport at exactly 1:50pm. He was received by dignitaries at the airport and greeted with a military ceremonial salute.

Tinubu is expected to receive the body of his predecessor at the same airport before proceeding to Daura, the late president’s hometown for the final internment.
