A Tik Toker who has been married for 14 years, recently found out that he is married to a woman he is related to by blood.
The American couple made the shocking revelation in a now-viral video poster by a netizen identified as @stzyathletemo on Tik Tok, who has described the discovery as “crazy”.
The Tik Toker, who is the husband, spoke on behalf of his wife and family, saying he got married to his wife in 2008.
He went on to say they had their first and second children in 2011 and 2015 respectively and that they have been living together for 13 years.
However, he ended the video by saying they recently found out that they were related by blood.

After the clip found its way to social media, mixed reactions trailed the video, however, a lot of those who commented wondered why they didn’t do a background check before walking down the aisle.
A Tik Toker identified as kevinellis211 said: “This is more common than you think!! I have married friends that recently found out they’re biological brother and sister!”
Another netizen, Ashley Blanks wrote: “My adoptive mom told me not to talk to anyone from Mobile, AL because my birth dad has kids all through there..”
Marisa G added: “So at your wedding, your parents were not present? no one met each other parents?”
Another internet user, Kaleepha888 said: “That’s why back in the day when our parents and parents and parents they made them take a blood test before they got married. This is why.”
While Nupe_5 wrote: “I mean at that point what do you do? You’ve already fallen in love, been inti*mate and had children! Nothing left to do.”
