Thomas Frank tips Arsenal to progress to UCL semi final

Thomas Frank said, “Mikel has done an exceptional job to make Arsenal extremely competitive for the last three years.”

Brentford manager, Thomas Frank has said North London club, Arsenal will be in the semi final of this season’s UEFA Champions League (UCL).

He made this known on Saturday at his post-match interview after his team held the Gunners to a 1-1 at the Emirates Stadium.

Real Madrid will host Arsenal in the Champions League quarter-final second leg tie at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night.

The Los Blancos lost the first leg of the encounter 3-0 at the home of the Premier League side on Tuesday night.

Speaking after Brentford’s league draw with Arsenal, Frank suggested that Arteta’s men will progress to the Champions League last-4 when they face Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu.

He went on to argue that Arteta has made his team extremely competitive in the last three years.

“Mikel has done an exceptional job to make Arsenal extremely competitive for the last three years,” he said when speaking about Arsenal’s clash with Madrid

“They are in a good position. Looking from the outside, Arsenal work hard and they are very good defensively.

“They are very good at defensive set-pieces. So I think they will be fine [against Real Madrid on Wednesday],” Frank added.
