Charles ‘Charly Boy’ Oputa means many things to many people. Whatever he means to anyone, he has not left anyone in doubt as to what he hopes to achieve in their lives. His Charly Boy life encompasses so many things.
As an Area Fada, he believes that area boys are not just the miscreants people know on the streets, but “youths in the neighbourhood”. In an interview recently, Charly Boy disclosed that many of them turned out as they were because they were not stubborn about their future.
“If I had not been stubborn about what I want to do in life, I would probably be depressed by now and not enjoying life as I am now,” he said.
He also revealed that the beauty of being Charly Boy, which he can never trade for the office of the president, is that he likes pushing the button of myopic and timid people.
