The teenage ruler who is arguably the youngest king in Nigeria today, shared pictures from his graduation ceremony via his Instagram handle.

The teenage monarch thanked his entire family and the people of Okeluse kingdom for standing by him throughout the 6 years he spent in boarding school.

He wrote, “Congratulations to me as the journey of 6 years in secondary school finally ended today, thankful to God Almighty, my parents, my sisters, my chiefs, my friends, well wishers and the entire citizens of Okeluse Kingdom for all the support everyone of you have rendered throughout the 6years of being in a boarding school…”

Akinghare, who also appreciated the school management and staff of his secondary school, called for more support as he enters adulthood.

He went on to promise to continue to strive for the development of his kingdom and elevate the stool, just like his forefathers did.

“My journey into adulthood begins now with the numerous tasks ahead of me and I implore every single lover out there to support me as I can’t do this alone,

“I will continue to strive for the development of my kingdom, my people and elevating the stool of my forefathers into greatness…,” Oba  Akinghare added.

The online community later trooped to the comment section of the now-rival Instagram post to wish him the best in the rest of his endeavours and a successful reign.

Some netizens, however, wondered how a 17-year-old got picked ahead of more mature men, while some jokingly asked the monarch if he got flogged by teachers while in school.
