A day after Arsenal’s loss, their nearest rivals, Manchester City, boosted their hopes of winning the title after they thrashed Chelsea 3-0 on Sunday.

Opta subsequently increased City’s probability of toppling Arsenal by 9.91 per cent, rising from 2.83 per cent to 12.74 per cent.

Manchester United, Aston Villa, and Liverpool—in third, fourth, and fifth positions respectively—have been given zero chance of lifting the title.
