Spain edged past England in the final of the Euro 2024 which was played at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany on Sunday night.
The first half of the highly tactical encounter finished goalless as both teams struggled to find the net.
Spain took the lead in the 47th minute when Nico Williams put them ahead after benefitting from a pass from Lamine Yamal.

The La Rojas then continued to dominate the game but it was England who restored parity through Cole Palmer in the 73rd minute.
Luis de la Fuente’s team, however, regained the lead through Mikel Oyarzabal who finished an assist from Alvaro Morata to end the game 2-1 in favour of Spain.
