Sophia Momodu, the first babymama of Afrobeats singer and record label owner, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, has alleged that the ace artist has not been paying her child support contrary to speculations.
She made this known on Wednesday in a now-trending post she shared on her official Instagram page.
According to the mother of one, the lengthy post was to address what she tagged as an attempt to portray a false narration about their daughter, Imade Adeleke’s well being.

Sophia also revealed that she has been the only one taking responsibility for their daughter’s well being for the past five years.
Speaking via her verified social media handle, she wrote, “I have not received any child support from Davido, but our child knows no lack. She’s growing in a safe and loving environment and she is very happy.”
While explaining that her daughter maintains a healthy relationship with both parents, she urged netizens to stop dragging her child into fabricated online narratives.
Sophia’s comments followed allegations that she prevented Imade from attending Davido’s 33rd birthday party in Atlanta a few days ago.
