Nigerian-Canadian actress, model, TV host, and content creator, Shine Rosman, has addressed a misconception about Nollywood movie stars, insisting most of them are not as rich as many people assume.
She made this known recently during a guest appearance on the latest episode of a podcast hosted by her colleague, Baaj Adebule.
According to Rosman, the belief that most Nigerian actors are living in opulence or affluence is not entirely true.

The 29-year-old thespian further noted that contrary to the impression out there, a lot of movie stars are struggling financially.
She, however, admitted that there are actors who are financially buoyant, but added that most of their money comes from other ventures, not from acting.
Speaking on the show, Rosman said, “The most overrated misconception about Nollywood stars is that we have money. I don’t know why people assume we have money.
“Some of us do have money, but from other ventures. But many of us are struggling financially.”
