In a bid to attain the vision of a safer Lagos, the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has commissioned the Epe Safety and Security HUB with a promise to make the welfare of the officers a top priority.
The Safety and Security HUB is for the use of the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Agency, a unit of the state government concerned with the Safety and Security of Lagos.
The governor in a brief ceremony said the safety and security of Lagosians is a priority in his ‘Themes’ Agenda for Lagos State.
For the officers, he said that his Government will continue to make their work environment better for them to deliver the desired results at optimum level.
Sanwo-Olu, commended the management and officers of the Corps, saying that they are getting on and can only improve to reach the expected standards after inspecting a Guard of honour mounted by Officers of the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Corps and a short display of the readiness of it’s Crowd control squad bearing the Body Worn Camera and Shield.
Also, the General Manager of the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Agency, Prince Dr Ifalade Oyekan expressed delight at the Commissioning of the Hub for the use of the Safety and Security Agencies in the Division.
He admonished the Officers of the Division to reciprocate by delivering on their mandate as expressed by the Law.
He reiterated the commitment of the Agency in making the whole of Lagos habitable and safe for the residents.
