Liverpool star, Mohamed Salah scored a brace as the Reds beat North London club, Tottenham Hotspurs 6-3 in an English Premier League (EPL) game played on Sunday night.
With the feat, the Egypt international
has now overtaken Manchester City’s Erling Haaland in the race to win the EPL Golden Boot this season.

The two goals scored on Sunday took his tally to 15 for the season after 17 fixtures.
The 32-year-old now has two more than Haaland, who is stuck on 13 goals after failing to score against Aston Villa on Saturday.

Chelsea’s talisman, Cole Palmer, is in third place with 10 goals after failing to find the back of the net against Everton.
Alexander Isak (Newcastle United), Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford), and Chris Wood (Nottingham Forest) are all on 10 goals each.
Salah has also overtaken Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka for the most assists, with 11.
Meanwhile, Liverpool, who still have a game at hand extended their lead at the top of the EPL log table to 4 points after defeating Spurs.
