Arsenal academy graduate and England international, Bukayo Saka is set to sign a new long-term contract with the Premier League leaders.
According to the UK Sun, the fresh deal when signed will see Saka earn four times his current salary and become the Gunners’ highest-paid player.
The Three Lions winger’s current contract was due to expire in the summer of 2024.
However, the 21-year-old is now on the brink of extending his stay at the Emirates for another four years, meaning the new contract will expire in 2028.

Saka has provided 10 assists and scored 12 goals in the Premier League this season, helping Arsenal to stay top of the league for most of the campaign.
He currently earns a weekly wage of £70,000 per week but that is set to rocket to £300,000 per week.
That agreement would make Saka the highest earner at the club, surpassing the £250,000 weekly wage paid to forward Gabriel Jesus – who joined from Manchester City last summer.
Also confirming the deal, Italian journalist and football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano took to his Twitter handle on Tuesday morning to announce the new contract.
He tweeted: “Arsenal star Bukayo Saka will sign his new contract very soon, no changes in the plan as verbal agreement is in place since February. ⚪️🔴 #AFC
“Three clubs [two from England and one from abroad] were monitoring Saka’s contract situation for long time but no way: he’s staying.”
Prior to this development, another Arsenal youngster, Gabriel Martinelli signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2027 in February.
The Brazil international’s previous deal was set to expire at the end of this season, but in a big boost for Mikel Arteta’s side, he agreed to a new four-and-a-half-year contract with the option for an additional year.
