Romano also noted on his X Page, formerly Twitter that the 24-year-old will get a pay rise

Italian journalist and transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen will sign a contract extension with Serie A side, Napoli before the end of the year.
He made this known on his X page, formerly Twitter, where he also noted that the 24-year-old will also get a pay rise and that the deal is imminent.
Speaking via his social media post, Romano tweeted: “The agreement between Napoli and Victor Osimhen on new deal is 100% done and confirmed.”

He added: “It will be sealed before Christmas, it’s imminent.”
Prior to this development, the club’s president, Aurelio de Laurentiis had revealed to the press that Osimhen and the Serie A champions had reached an agreement.
The Nigeria international recently penned a one-year extension with a release clause set between €130-140m.
The forward’s previous contract was expected to expire in 2025.
Osihmen who helped the club claim the Italian Italian league last season, has scored seven goals in 14 league appearances for the Partenopei this season.
