Spanish midfielder Rodri has revealed that Manchester City are waiting to pounce on a slip from Arsenal to win this season’s English Premier League (EPL) title.
He made this known on Saturday evening while speaking to journalists after the Citizens defeated Chelsea 1-0 in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium.
With two fixtures remaining this season, Mikel Arteta’s men sit two points clear of Man City at the top of the league table.
Arsenal host Burnley at the Emirates on Monday night, before Pep Guardiola and his men travel to the Vitality Stadium for a tricky encounter against Bournemouth on Tuesday.

On the final day of the season, City will welcome Aston Villa, while Arsenal travel away to Crystal Palace.
While analysing his side’s chances of winning a treble after picking up the EFL Cup and FA Cup, Rodri noted it can only happen if Arsenal drop points.
He added that all City can do at this point is continue to put pressure on the North London club and hope they make mistakes.
“Anything can happen. We just need them [Arsenal] to drop points—it could happen in the next game or the last game,” Rodri said.
“But if I were in their position, it is not easy to finish the task. We have to be there pushing until the end.”
