Rivers Sole Administrator Ibas, Delta gov attend NEC meeting in Abuja

The Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, on Thursday attended the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting, chaired by Vice President Kashim Shettima at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Among other notable attendees was the recently defected Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori.
The meeting also drew the presence of several other governors, including Benue State Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazak, Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo, and Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu, among others.
A significant number of deputy governors are also in attendance.
The NEC, presided over by the Vice President, serves as a platform for discussing critical national issues and fostering economic collaboration between the federal and state governments.
