Podcast host and former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand, has said north London club, Arsenal have no excuse if they fail to lift the English Premier League (EPL) trophy this season.
He made this known in the latest edition of his podcast show, ‘Rio Ferdinand Presents’.
Arsenal strengthened their squad which came second in the last three seasons with eight more quality players in the summer transfer window.
They include, Eberechi Eze, Martin Zubimendi, Noni Madueke, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Piero Hincapie, Christian Norgaard, Cristhian Mosquera and Viktor Gyokeres.
The Gunners are currently topping the Premier League table going into the October FIFA international break.

While discussing Mikel Arteta men’s prospects on his show, Ferdinand said they have the best depth in the Premier League.
He further noted that the outfit bought robust players that can hurt any team in the summer, adding that “It’s a good time to be an Arsenal fan”.
“Arsenal have got probably the best depth in the league right now, all positions have really good cover. When all the squad’s fit, I think it’s an intimidating squad that you’re coming up against now.
“They’ve got robust players, players that can hurt you from different areas. It’s a good time to be an Arsenal fan.
“They’ve got to finish it off this time, they can’t go this season with arguably the best squad in the league and still not get the job done,” Ferdinand said.
