Exactly after three weeks billionaire politician, Ned Nwoko, set his eyes on Regina Daniels, she became his wife.
In a viral video chat shared on social media, Nwoko said he met Regina Daniels for the first time when she visited his home in the company of her mum.
The duo were married in June 2019.
Regina Daniel’s mum, Rita Daniel, is a movie maker and currently a politician in Delta state, serving as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) assistant treasurer. Nwoko is a PDP chieftain in Delta State.

Nwoko said since he doesn’t watch movies, he knew nothing about Regina Daniels until they met when she accompanied her mum and siblings to his home where the love spark was ignited.
“I met her and her liked her. We married within three weeks. I married all my wives within same period. I don’t believe in dating anybody before marrying them. Don’t date anybody before you marry. Marry them then you begin to fall in love within the marriage,” he said.
Nwoko supported his argument of marriage without courtship: “Even in my own culture as it were, as a kid in the 60s, people were not dating. They will arrange marriages, and most girls were expected to be virgins when they get married, and then they build a family from there. And because they didn’t know each other before they get married, a lot of excitement, a lot of learning to do,” he said.
Nwoko continued: “Regina and I is a story that is interesting because before I met her, I didn’t know anything about her. I don’t watch movies, I never watched movies. I met her the first time when she came to my house with her mother and her siblings…because my place in Delta is a tourist place. They came to look around and I liked her and that was it,” he said.
He then hinted of marrying another wife: “Whether I marry another wife or not, she knows it can happen. I come from a very polygamous environment myself. I love children, and I want more children, and she knows and my other wives also know this. So, we see what happens in the future.”
Nwoko is married to six women with Regina Daniels being the number sixth. There were reports some weeks back that he was prospecting for a seventh wife.
