Barcelona winger, Raphinha on Wednesday night equalled a record set by Lionel Messi after scoring a goal in the first leg of UEFA Champions League (UCL) quarter final between his team and visiting Borussia Dortmund.
Goals from Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal gave Barca a comprehensive 4-0 victory on the night.
Raphinha opened the scoring when he touched in Pau Cubarsi’s flick before it crossed the line.

Apart from goal contribution, Raphinha also provided assists for Lewandowski and Yamal during the encounter, meaning he now has 19 direct goal involvements in this season’s Champions League (50 in all competitions).
The feat moves him level with Messi, who also hit 19 goal involvements in the 2011-12 campaign.
Meanwhile, barring a dramatic comeback from Dortmund in the second leg, Barcelona are all but through to the Champions League semi-final.
