Queen Atang picks Akuapem Poloo over Shatta Wale, others

Queen Atang, to BBNaija star, picks Akuapem Poloo over other popular Ghanaian musicians, as she compares her to Cardi B

BBNaija season 6 star, Queen Mary Atang, better known as Queen, has picked popular actress and video vixen,  Akuapem Poloo, as her favorite Ghanaian Musician.

She disclosed this, in an exclusive interview with MzGee on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, ahead of her Ghana Tour.

Queen, however, struggled to identify other popular Ghanaian artists such as Dancehall Artiste Shatta Wale, Rapper Sarkodie, even as she claimed she had heard about them before. 

She picked “Sexy Poloo ” as her favorite of all the songs by Akuapem Poloo’s saying she was more conversant with it. 

The 26-year-old BBNaija star, in the interview, praises the self-acclaimed musician and compared her with American singer Cardi B, whom she called her twin sister.

In her words: “I like her vibe, she is very energetic, just like me, so I like her very much.”

Queen Atang also spoke about other issues ranging from her interest in politics, to Ghanaian foods she has tried, the Jollof war, and her relationship with White Money, the eventual BBNaija 6 winner. 

Akuapem Polo whose real name is Rosemond Alade Brown is a Ghanaian Togolese model, video vixen, Actress, and Brand Ambassador

She was sentenced to 90 days in prison by an Accra Circuit Court for posting her nude alongside her 7-year-old son on social media in July 2020.

In the post  she made to mark her son’s seventh birthday celebration she wrote:  

“I’m naked in front of you because this is how naked I was giving birth to you, so in case you find me naked lying somewhere don’t pass by me but rather see me as your mom who brought you to life. Happy birthday to you @sonof_poloo.”
