Protesters have blocked the highway leading in and out of Abuja, causing gridlock at the Suleja axis of the Abuja-Kaduna expressway in Niger State.

Another one told Daily Trust that though policemen were on ground, they were unable to salvage the situation as they were outnumbered by the protesters.

He said, “There are few policemen standing from afar, but they can do nothing about the roadblock as the number of the youths is beyond their control.”
