Prophecy to the highest bidder, Nigerians slam Mbaka for saying ‘stingy’ Peter Obi will never be president

Mbaka, like in 2019, has again resumed his onslaught against Obi, saying it is better to elect Atiku Abubakar or Bola Tinubu.

Catholic Priest and founder of the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka, has provoked many Nigerians into a rage on Twitter after calling Peter Obi a stingy man who will never be Nigeria’s president.

At least 110,000 tweets have referenced Mbaka in an unpleasant way on the microblogging app, Twitter after making the comment.

Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate, is currently in Egypt understudying the country’s energy and education sectors as a possible model for Nigeria to adopt.

Recall that in the build-up to the 2019 presidential election with Peter Obi as the vice-presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mbaka asked Peter Obi to publicly make a pledge which he refused. Mbaka then labelled Obi stingy and predicted failure of the PDP in that election.

In a tweet, a former chairman of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Chidi Odinkalu, described Mbaka as a religious con artist.

He said via his Twitter handle, @chidiodinkalu: “Ejike Mbaka is a religious Ponzi Monster who praises anyone who gives him money even if that person killed a million innocent people to make that money. And once you refuse to give him money, you become an enemy.”

@Rolandkeobi said: “Mbaka is positioning himself for Tinubu’s bullion van and Atiku’s dollars. He knows the game. Prophecy to the highest bidder. He knows Peter Obi will not give shishi. He’s making himself available for others to use.”

@firstladyship said: “People have to be discerning. Circumspection is key. When confused, ask questions. Not everyone who says ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Matthew 7:21-23. Mbaka must repent & turn from his wicked ways.”

@Clever_uchendu said: “I was born and brought up in the Roman Catholic church, I have so much respect for Rev fr Mbaka, But as it stands right now, even Pope Francis can’t tell me not to vote for Peter obi  talkless of Fr Mbaka, the same man that told us to vote for Buhari , Tueh.”
