Yoruba movie actor and producer, Baba Ijesha, has confessed to the rape of a minor, the adopted child of Princess the comedian.
Baba Ijesha, in a video, agrees that he committed the crime of molesting a 14-year-old after he had done the same act seven years ago to the same child.
In the confession video, Princess, who is the lead interrogator, with other men in the background, asked Baba Ijesha repeatedly why he molested the girl after doing the same thing to the girl seven years ago. He said it was a spiritual problem. He begged profusely for him to be left off the hook.
Baba Ijesha has been taken to the Panti Police Station where he is being held until he is arraigned in court.
There were rumours that he would be released on bail. That immediately sparked rage, with some Nigerians physically besieging the police station, including Princess and Iyabo Ojo, to insist that Baba Ijesha remains in the police custody.
