Popular hotelier arrested over alleged homosexual acts after victim lodged complaint with police
Police officers attached to Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Zone 2, Onikan, have arrested a popular Lagos hotelier over alleged homosexual acts with teenage secondary school boys.
The suspect, identified simply as Mcdon, was arrested on Tuesday at his Empire Hotel located at Bucknor in Isheri-Osun, Ejigbo, after weeks of evading police dragnet.
It was learnt that his trouble started last December when a 16-year-old pupil (name withheld), who went with his friends to the hotel for a Tik-Tok skit, was lured and sexually defiled.
The traumatised boy reportedly told his mother what transpired at the hotel and how McDon allegedly had unnatural intimacy with him and three of his friends, threatening them afterwards to keep it a secret or die.
The teenager told his mother he wanted to make a confession before the new year, urging her to keep it a secret. But the mother, who could not stomach his rattling confession, raised an alarm, especially as the kid started acting abnormally minutes after opening up.
His father Christian Edozie, 44, was immediately informed and the family took the boy to a prayer house where he stayed for a few days and was then taken to Isheri-Osun police station to file a complaint after he became sober.
