The 25-year-old, who on Sunday won the most watched reality TV show in Africa also got other prizes which included a year’s worth of Pepsi drink and Nexus Home appliances, among others.

Phyna, while speaking about what she intends to do with the money, said she is yet to decide on what to do with the cash prize. She, however,  hinted that part of the proceeds will go to the less privileged.

In her words: “I will calm down and see to that and if you’re the one, you’ll do the same but I will see to helping the needy.”

“I hold no grudges against no one as I have left it all behind me. I get angry but after some time I let it go,” she added.

Phyna became the winner of this year’s edition of Big Brother Naija Season 7 by defeating Bryann, who emerged as the 1st Runner Up, Bella, Adekunle, Chichi and Daniella who all made the Top Six.

She also became the second female winner of the show, following in the footsteps of Mercy Eke, who won the season 4 edition of the show in October 2019.

According to the organisers, the 2023 edition will be bigger, as it is expected to be a combination of Big Brother Naija housemates and their  South African counterparts.
