BBNaija ex-housemate, Sammie, has said people around him thought he went mad after picking a ticket to participate in the show.
Sammie made the revelation while sharing a tweet on how excited he felt after he got the news that he had been chosen via his email box.
According to the 26-year-old, he has a speaking disability that led him to believe that he stood no chance of making it to the show.
He was, however, shocked when he got an email informing him of his participation in the TV reality show.
He ended the tweet saying he lost control after the news and found himself on the floor celebrating.
“Having a speaking disability and getting to where I am right now is so inspiring! They still can’t believe how I aced my audition into BBN!.
“The day I got the first email that I have been picked, I was inside Keke. I came down and laid on the ground lol. People around thought I was mad!” he tweeted.
Sammie was the first housemate to get romantically entangled on the show, as he and Angel became an item, sharing a bed and making romantic gestures towards each other.
The relationship, however, soon turned sour and they went their separate ways after Sammie accused Angel of kissing Kayvee, during a “truth or dare” game.
