Osun All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola, have cast their ballots in the ongoing Osun governorship election.
Oyetola, former governor of the state, voted at Ward 1, Unit 10, in Iragbiji, Boripe Local Government Area.

Oyebamiji and his wife were accredited at Ward 9, Polling Unit 011, Gantry Area, Ikire, in Irewole Local Government Area, where they also cast their votes.
The election which is taking place across the 30 local government areas of Osun State, has seen voters trooping to their polling booths early enough.
The exercise comes as agents of the Accord Party and the All Progressives Congress, APC, were seen engaged in vote buying at AUD Primary School in Atile, Ikire, Irewole Local Government Area of the state, according to Vanguard reports.
Party agents were seen stationed around the polling booths to monitor the voters. It was further observed that as soon as a voter casts his or her vote, a party agent hands over a tag to enable the voter to claim their cash.
