Osinbajo parleys Bayelsa APC delegates for votes tomorrow

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo heads to the South-South to canvass votes from All Progressives Congress (APC) delegates in the party’s presidential primary set for May 30.

Osinbajo had toured the majority of the states in his home base of South West where he faced the stiffest challenge from former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu, and is now set to crisscross the South-South states, beginning with Bayelsa.

The statement reads: “The All Progressives Congress (APC), Bayelsa State Chapter, will on Thursday, May 5, 2022, play host to the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo. Osinbajo, a presidential aspirant on the platform of the party, will be in Yenagoa to meet with members of the party in the state as part of preparations for the forthcoming party primaries scheduled for the end of May.

“On arrival at the Bayelsa International Airport, Yenagoa, he will drive straight to the Secretariat of the Traditional Rulers Council to parley with members of the council. From there, he will proceed to the State Secretariat of the APC on Mbiama-Yenagoa Road for a meeting with the State Executive Committee.

“Vice President Osinbajo will round off his visit to the state with a meeting with all National Delegates of the APC, Bayelsa State Chapter, at Golden Tulip Hotel, Government House, Yenagoa.

“Chairman of the party in the state, Dr Dennis Otiotio, advises all National Delegates to be seated at the hotel by 11. 00 am.”
