Osimhen marked Napoli’s milestone with a brace in the 14th and 54th minutes as the Partenopei held Bologna to a draw

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has taken to social media to celebrate after he was awarded the prestigious national honour, Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR).
Osimhen also marked his 100th appearance for Serie A champions, Napoli, which came in the 2-2 draw against Bologna at Stadio Renato Dell’Ara on Sunday.
The 24-year-old during the encounter scored a brace in the 14th and 54th minutes as the Partenopei held their hosts to a score draw.

Taking to his official Twitter handle after the game, Osimhen announced the two achievements to his fans.
He wrote: “Today, I feel so blessed and grateful as I announce that I have been awarded the prestigious Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) award by the Federal Republic of Nigeria,”
“Today also marked my 100th game for Napoli, and I was fortunate to score two goals for my club,” noting that “this MFR recognition also means a lot to me, as it symbolises the appreciation and support of the great Nigerian people for the dedication and hard work they have always put into their career to make Nigeria proud,” he added.
Osimhen was among the important personalities awarded different national awards by outgoing President Muhammad Buhari on Sunday.
