Queen Naomi Ogunwusi, the ex-wife of Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, has declared that she is single and searching.
The former Ife queen who described herself as a bride waiting to be dressed, also noted that a big event is about to unfold.
She made this known recently during an interview with PUNCH, asserting that God is working out a plan for her.

Speaking about her relationship status, Naomi said: “It’s a different thing to be single and it is a different thing to be ready to mingle. But what I can say for sure is that I am a bride waiting to be dressed up.”
When she was pressed to clarify the statement, she said, “You know, ‘Eni ti won gbe iyawo bo wa ba ko kin garun’. I don’t know how God plans to do it because He is my event planner. But there is a big event waiting to happen (if you are) talking about that aspect of my life. Hmmm, you see this queen, it will take a strong king to get me; I am single.”
Queen Naomi after tying the knot with the highly revered king, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ojaja II in 2018 announced her separation from him in December 2021.
The union was, however, blessed with a prince, Tadenikawo.
