Ace Afrobeats singer and record label owner, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has boasted that his type of wealth cannot be gained through “investment”.
The ‘Electricity’ crooner made the claim in a video posted on Instagram by his associate, Cubana Chief Priest.
Davido, in the now trending clip also asserted that his wealth can only be obtained through divine blessings.
While chilling in a rumoured newly acquired luxurious jet alongside Cubana Chief Priest, Davido said, “My type of wealth can’t be obtained through investment…”

Agreeing with his claim, Cubana Chief Priest replied, “Yeah, no!”
Speaking further, the artiste went on to say “It can only be obtained through God’s blessings [laughs].”
Davido is a son of Nigerian billionaire and businessman, Deji Adeleke.
The singer’s source of wealth has often elicited mixed reactions from his fans and other netizens who enjoy his music.
While some of his fans believe he made his money from his songs and proceeds from his record label, others argued his father’s riches helped in boosting his financial standing.
