The community, according to residents, has recently come under a series of criminal activities caused by herdsmen who slip into the area from neighbouring Kogi State to operate before fleeing back to their base.

According to Leadership Newspaper, the victims were kidnapped while in a Toyota Corolla car on their way home after the close of work.

Mrs Okeke, who is pregnant, was, however, released due to her condition and trekked for about an hour to get to the road.
