The All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate for the coming Local government election in Akoko North West, Hon. Elder Samson Ayodele Akande, has toured 26 towns and villages in the area.
During the visit, Akande expressed the need for the people to vote massively for all APC candidates in the coming council election on August 22 and Governorship election slated for October 10.
According to him, their support for Second term bid of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) is surest way of impacting positively on the people that will guarantee prosperous future for the state.
His words: “A vote for Akeredolu is a vote for continuity of good legacy projects springing up across the 18 local government areas of the state aimed at improving the lives of our people.
“What the present government has been able to do across the 18 Local government areas of the state in the last three and half years have surpassed that of his predecessors put together,” he said.
In their responses, Leaders of the Communities said they were not only impressed by the assurance of peace emanating from Akande since he became the APC candidate but convinced by the efforts of the government at rebuilding the falling economy fortune of the state.
They therefore pledged their unalloyed support to massively vote for both Akande and Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in the forthcoming elections in the state to enable them do more for the council and particularly the state.
Among the communities toured by Elder Samson Ayodele Akande and his Deputy, Comrade Adeyanju are Gashi/Eriti, Ajowa Iyani, Ibaram, Ikaram.
Others are Erusu, Igedegede, Arigidi, Oyin, Okeagbe, Iru, Afin, Ogbagi, Ese, Iye among others.
