The new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, has pledged to serve all residents of the Ibadan city, regardless of their faith or status.
He made the commitment on Sunday at the Church of the Ascension in Ibadan, during a thanksgiving service organized to mark his coronation.
On Friday, Ladoja was crowned as the 44th Olubadan by Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde at the historic Mapo Hall.
However, while speaking during the thanksgiving service, Oba Ladoja declared himself as the king of all religions.

He also pledged to ensure that Ibadan experiences development, peace, and progress during his reign.
He said, “We are all governing Ibadan. I’m just the coordinator. You people are the small Olubadan; I’m the big Olubadan.
”Ibadan will be great by God’s grace with your support. I’m now king of all religions. Ibadan is a fertile land; it shall continue to be well with Ibadan.
“I’m Olubadan for all, and the success of my reign will not be mine alone but that of the Olubadan-in-Council and the entire people of Ibadanland.”
