Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, has commiserated with the former Governor of Osun State and one of the key chieftains of All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Bisi Akande, over the death of his wife, Mrs. Omowunmi Akande.
The governor stated that he received the sad news of Mrs. Akande’s death at the age of 73 with disbelief, and could only imagine the trauma Chief Akande would be going through at the moment to contend with this great loss.
The Imo State governor added that the success story of Chief Akande in Politics in particular would not have been possible without the contributions of his beloved wife, Omowunmi.
He prayed that the good LORD should grant Chief Akande and the children the spiritual fibre and physical strength to bear the loss.
