Arsenal captain, Martin Odegaard has said the race for the Premier League title is still on, insisting that the Gunners can still leapfrog Liverpool.

Speaking ahead of the premier League clash against Manchester United on Sunday, the Norwegian said everything is possible in the Premier League and Champions League.

Arsenal are currently 16-point behind Liverpool on the Premier League table after the Reds came from behind to  defeat Southampton 3-1 at Anfield on Saturday.

“We will fight until the end,” Odegaard was quoted by Metro UK.

“That is the mindset of everyone. We hav been fighting three years in a row for the title and you go a couple of years back then we were leading with a lot of points and then we finished second.

“It shows that everything is possible.

“We have put ourselves in a difficult position at the moment but we have to keep going.

“Hopefully we can – like last year – hit the top form towards the end and then we will see where that takes us in the league and also in the Champions League,” he added.
