Ossai Ovie Success, Special Assistant on Media to Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa has said the popularity of Labour Party presidential flag bearer, Peter Obi on social media is waning because Nigerian youths have now abandoned him.

In a recent message he shared on his Facebook page, Ossai claimed Nigerian youths are no longer enthusiastic about the former Anambra State Governor.

He asserted that the development occurred because they are now aware he doesn’t have the capacity to govern or lead Nigeria.

Ossai said, “I was in a ceremony recently and the Master of Ceremony shouted PETER OBI thinking the crowd will start expressing their happiness with ovation but it was shocking to the MC after realizing that people are no longer happy with that name.

”Few days later, I was telling my friends about what happened and they said that was the same thing they experienced in some parts of Enugu.

“It was at this point I noticed Peter Obi has been abandoned by the youths .”

“I also took out time to study Peter Obi’s Popularity online and I noticed it has reduced drastically.”

He went on to say the lack of interest is an indication that the youths are not prepared to vote wisely in the upcoming presidential election.

“This is a clear indication that the youths are now wiser toward the 2023 general election,” he added.

Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic (PDP) are the leading candidates in the 2023 presidential election.
