Nottingham Forest manager, Sean Dyche, has insisted that he will take his time and won’t rush the club’s right-back, Ola Aina, into action.

He made this known while providing an injury update on the Nigerian international at the pre-match press conference for the club’s UEFA Europa League clash against Malmö.

Aina has been sidelined since sustaining a hamstring injury on international duty with Nigeria in September.

The injury has forced him to miss Nottingham Forest’s last 14 games across all competitions.

There are expectations that Aina will return to action soon after he was pictured in training this week.

However, while briefing reporters on Aina’s progress, Dyche explained that the defender will be gradually eased back into action.

He also revealed that while the defender is recuperating well, he is yet to get “on the grass.”

“Ola Aina is not on the grass with us yet, he’s still going to take a bit of time,” the Nottingham Forest boss said.
