Justice M. A. Adumein who gave the conflicting judgment in the Kano election dispute which is now being blamed on ‘clerical error’, requested for prayer at the beginning and end of the hearing session which took place on November 6, according to New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) legal adviser, Robert Hon.

The NNPP legal adviser made the disclosure on Friday during an interview on Arise Television where he quoted justice Adumein as saying that the judiciary had got to its lowest point where litigants threaten them to make favourable rulings.

He said the justice appealed to all the lawyers in the court to prevail on their clients to stop reaching out to them and issuing threats against them.
