Popular broadcaster and radio host, Ifedayo Olarinde, better known as Daddy Freeze, has set tongues wagging following his reaction to news that Nollywood actor Baba Ijesha and his wife, fashion designer Luminee, have welcomed a baby boy.
The couple announced the arrival of their son on June 15, 2026, barely seven months after Baba Ijesha’s release from prison.
Speaking via her official Instagram page, Luminee said: “We are overwhelmed with joy. Our little star has arrived to light up our lives. Our lives are complete.”
Reacting to the announcement, Daddy Freeze stirred online debates after sarcastically questioning the baby’s conception timeline.
In a video shared on his Instagram page on June 16, the controversial media personality highlighted the unusually short period since Baba Ijesha regained his freedom in November 2025.
He wondered how the pregnancy happened so quickly, joking that perhaps the actor transferred it via Bluetooth while still behind bars, since conjugal visits are not legally recognised in Nigeria.

The OAP further teased that the child might have been born prematurely, given the tight timeline, and described Baba Ijesha as someone with “superpowers of impregnating women from afar.”
After Daddy Freeze’s video found its way online, it elicited mixed reactions. While some Nigerians joined in querying the timeline of the baby’s delivery, others urged him to respect the actor’s privacy.
Reacting to the observation, a netizen identified as @dpride2 wrote: “😂😂😂 he could have consented for her to do IVF lol things dey happen for this land.”
Another internet user, @junecathy22, commented: “My question is; what if Baba Ijesha was still in custody, how would ceoiluminee have announced the birth of their baby child? It is obvious that their relationship began before he was incarcerated.”
Meanwhile, @steve_household_equipment added: “Conjugal visit fit don dey happen for Nigerian prison oo.. It dey happen for abroad well well 😂😂”
However, @official_daddyg defended the couple, noting: “No one should judge anyone; only God understands everyone’s journey.”
Another Nigerian, @adefaye, shared similar sentiments, saying: “Please refrain from making unnecessary comments or assumptions about matters that do not concern you. Everyone deserves privacy and respect regarding personal and family matters.”
