The Governor of Niger State, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello, has condoled with the national leader of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, over the death of his son, Jide.
The condolence message is contained in a statement signed by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace, in Minna, Niger State capital.
“The death of Jide Tinubu was a great loss to the Tinubu family and by extension the ruling APC and the nation at large. Jide has been a source of joy to his parents and therefore I am expressing my heart felt condolence over his death”.
While also saying that death is an inevitable end to all mortals, Governor Bello urged the Tinubu family to take solace in Allah on whose hands every mortal depends on. “Allah gives and taketh. To Allah will all mortal return.
“We the government and people of Niger State deeply express our heart felt condolences to the family over the death of Jide Tinubu. We pray Allah to grant the deceased Aljanatul Fridaus, while also praying Allah to grant those he left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” he said.
Governor Bello further expressed his personal condolences to the immediate and extended family members of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and friends of the family for the great loss of the promising practicing lawyer, the statement said.
