Ned Nwoko alleges Regina Daniels’ outbursts linked to drug use, claims she declined rehab at Asokoro

Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North, has publicly accused his wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, of being a drug addict, claiming her recent erratic behavior and public outbursts are linked to substance abuse.
The allegations come after a trending video on social media captured a chaotic incident where Regina Daniels appeared to accuse her billionaire husband, Senator Nwoko, of sending thugs to physically assault her.
In the video, the actress is reportedly heard saying, “Ned sent thugs. In Ned Nwoko’s house, I’m nothing, but in my house, I’m a queen. What again? I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.” The footage also showed scenes of physical confrontations involving Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy, and other men.
In a post on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Nwoko categorically denied the allegation of violence against his wife, stating it was fabricated. He offered his other wives as testaments to his non-violent character.
According to Nwoko, Regina Daniels’ behavior is drug-induced, and he specifically named her brother, Sammy, and another woman, Ann, as her primary suppliers.
Nwoko further claimed that a “clear headed” Daniels would have been with their son, Moon, at the hospital. Instead, he alleges she vandalized property in their home while he was taking the boy for medical treatment.
The Senator detailed the nature of their issues: “Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem,” the post reads. “She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety.”
Nwoko stated he has set a “clear condition” for her to accept rehabilitation, either at a facility in Asokoro or abroad, specifically in Jordan, “where she will not have access to drugs.”
He countered her claims of violence by alleging that Regina Daniels herself is the aggressor, having “slapped and hit three staff in the past 48 hours and destroying property, including cars and windows, for no just cause.”
He also claimed she threatened to kill their resident nurse for exposing her alleged drug use.
