After several teams indicated readiness to compete in this year’s National Division Two tournament, the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) today confirmed that the event will take place inside the Sports Hall of the National Stadium,Abuja from 26-31 October,2014.
All the participating teams are expected to arrive on Saturday 26th, october for the technical meeting and other pre-tournament formalities at the Nigerian Basketball Federation office at the Package B of the National Stadium Abuja.
The tournament qualifies teams to Division One , which is the feeder league for the Dstv Premiership to which two teams are promoted annually to replace the two relegated at the end of every season. At the end of last season,Niger Potters and Royal Hoopers were relegated from the Dstv Premier League.
