Mr Macaroni stresses money and connection without freedom is useless

Skit maker Mr Macaroni (Debo Adebayo), a social critic, has knocked complacency in some Nigerians, reminding them money, position or connection are never good enough to sacrifice for freedom, in a coded riposte to those dissuading others from protesting against decay and hunger in the country ruled by Bola Tinubu.
Mr Macaroni in a post on X (Twitter) said some have lost their sense of humanity by promoting violence, hate, and bigotry just to keep their positions in society.
“No amount of money, position or connection in this world should ever be enough to sacrifice the freedom of your people,” he counselled.
“Some people have lost every essence of their humanity by promoting violence, hate and bigotry just to have access to few crumbs at the table. It is their ignorance and selfishness that blinds them to the fact that if United, the entire Table belongs to us.”
Planning and logistics are in top gear by youths to protest between August 1 and 10 to press Tinubu to stem the tide of escalating inflation and cut the wasteful cost of governance, among other demands.
Some people – especially bribed agents of the President – are preaching, gaslighting, and threatening all they can to prevent the protest, but the planners say they are not deterred.
