Real Madrid manager Alvaro Arbeloa has described Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich as the most consistent team in Europe at present.
He made the remarks during his pre-match interview on Monday, ahead of Real Madrid’s Champions League quarter-final first-leg fixture against Bayern at the Santiago Bernabéu on Tuesday night.
Speaking about the eagerly anticipated encounter, Arbeloa noted that his players are fully aware of the threat Bayern pose and the storied history between the two clubs.

The Spanish tactician added that his lads are ready to replicate the memorable atmosphere of their previous victory against Manchester City in the round of 16.
“Bayern have been the most consistent team in Europe this season,” Arbeloa stated. “We are fully aware of the threat they bring to the pitch, and the history between Real Madrid and Bayern is always something special.”
He continued: “The Bernabéu is set for another great Champions League night — just like the one we had against Manchester City. I’m confident we will see that magic repeated tomorrow.”
Real Madrid enter the clash following a 2-1 domestic league defeat. Bayern Munich, on the other hand, edged past Freiburg in their most recent Bundesliga fixture.
