Pundit and former Arsenal midfielder, Paul Merson has advised Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane not to consider a move to west London club, Chelsea if he doesn’t want to lose his legacy at Spurs.
He also told the Blues, who have gone on a spending spree since the January windows opened, that they stand no chance of bringing the Three Lion striker to Stamford Bridge.

According to Merson, moving to Chelsea would mean that the England captain has destroyed all he has achieved so far at Spurs.
Kane has spent more than a decade at the north London club and is now the club’s joint all-time top goalscorer with his 266th goal for the club.

His contract expires at the end of the season and there is fresh speculation over his long-term future in north London.
Manchester United are said to have revived their interest in the 29-year-old, but Chelsea who are said to be looking for a new No. 9 are reported to be interested too.
However, Arsenal legend, Paul Merson, does not think the England international will move to Stamford Bridge given what he stands to lose if he completes such a deal.
“Harry Kane to Chelsea? That can’t happen,” Merson told Sky Sports.
“If he comes to Chelsea, he loses his legacy at Tottenham. Tottenham fans would go mad.
“For him to go over to Chelsea, it would be the next notch down from going to Arsenal. Chelsea and Tottenham don’t get on.”
