May Edochie has clarified that she met Nollywood actor and ex-husband, Yul Edochie long before he became a famous and successful thespian.
The mother of three made the revelation during a recent interview on a lifestyle podcast.
According to May, their paths first crossed at a General Certificate Examination (GCE) centre during her early university days.

She added that she had just moved from Lagos to pursue a degree at Enugu State University when she met Yul, who was then studying at the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT).
Explaining how they met after the podcast host asked, May said, “Way back in school when I went to the East for my university, I’m a bookworm. It’s always been about books for me. We didn’t meet at a party or any glamorous settings, we met at a GCE centre.”
Still reflecting on the period, she described herself as an academically driven young woman.
