Restoring peace to Zamfara

Matawalle said apart from the peace dialogue with armed bandits, his administration brought in different political factions into one platform for peace and unity, so people could go about their normal activities.

“We have achieved political reconciliation and this paved the way for peaceful campaign rallies and healthy political activities in the state,” he explained, per Daily Post

He sought forgiveness from anyone he knowingly or unknowingly offended or whose feelings he hurt, stressing he is a human being like everyone else and only Almighty Allah’s deeds or actions are error-free.

He appealed for calm and sympathised with those who lost property in the name of celebration, stressing they have no other place than Zamfara.

Matawalle also implored the incoming administration to restore peace to the state and expressed gratitude for the commitment, hard work, and resilience of the people.
